Kawee_Narak I truly would if I could, I have only 2 weeks left to pay the last $400 on our tickets (non-refundable) and my mortgage is late 3 weeks

I have no problem trusting you (beleiving you), as you are a regular and always helping everybody, I simply am hurting myself at the moment.

A comment from kawee_narak in response to my mail in 'Pickpockets in Chatuchak' on Jan 23.

Check it out.

Ive nothing against kawee, im just a little confused, i dont quite 'get it'.

Anyway you must know by now Kawee that stevesuphan is not the meanest of types and certainly doesnt get angry easily, no worries there.
Kawee, do remember that 'the best things in life are the things worth waiting for' your girl will be all right.

Good luck and a Happy Chinese New Year.

Kawee Narak, you're going about this all the wrong way. Go to the Thai Embassy in Sweden. Tell them you want to go home and can't afford a ticket. Tell them you can't afford to stay in Sweden, and will soon be trapped there. You should (sooner or later) be able to work a deal in which you can get home and repay the Thai government for your ticket after getting back to Thailand. Best of luck to you.

I think it'd better if you advertise your guitar on Ebay as TK said. Would it be better than here. Coz the forum, it's not the market(online) as Ebay etc. that you advertise stuff from here. I understand you are in troubles and wanna sell asap. But anyway if you put it on Ebay, somebody would buy it already.. I guess

I hope It will be bought by somebody soon. Good Luck God bless you!

May I ask why? Did they deny helping you or you do not want them to get involve?

Do you advertise your guitar somewhere else as well such has in local newspaper (small ads) or notice board in some shops? Or even put it on eBay.

I really don't want to fall into a dept-trap too...
I must say your comment took me by surprise. If being with your loved one is all that important, as you had said yourself, I find it rather strange that you will not approach your Thai embassy for help to get you back as soon as possible. Then work your butt off to pay back. What is that compared to saving her life, which was your goal?

You can still arrange to sell your guitar when you return, right? After all, if you don't mind less reknowned airlines, you should be able to get cheaper tickets, perhaps with more stopovers than you would.

I myself am taking an overdraft (high interest of course) to help my gal pay for an emergency neuro-surgery for her dad, who has bleeding in the brain now. The amount needed is not small, and it is going to take some effort to pay back the loan. It is just too bad that both of us dun have the cash to pay for the op now. But what the heck - her dad's life is more important and there is no time for us to dilly dally. Now if I am taking a loan to pamper her and let her go shopping , I won't do it of course.
