Take ur cloths with u and buy the rest new here. On the other hand the customs at Don Muang will probably not give a hoot how much u have with u. Just walk the green line and ignore them.

I'm looking for a way to send my computer in thailand when I'll move in Bangkok... I'd like to take a lot of books as well and... err... duno how to do

So, if somebody around know the topic It would greatly help me
For your books, try DHL or similar. As for your PC, I wonder if it is worth the expense to courier it. I would probably just take the CPU with me, and hand carry it into the plane. Should not be an issue with customs since it is for your personal use. Monitor and other bulky items, I would rather buy in Bangkok.

P.S. remember to switch the voltage for your PC to 220V before connecting the power.

a friend who worked at CDG airport ,paris told me that I can just ask to a professional transporter , he said it wouldn't be to expansive...
do you know something about it?

I saw a guy carrying a computer at the airport... it's strange, I wonder if it's not risky (I mean for the cpu)

maybe you're right for the screen, better to buy another one at pantip.

just a last thing, the total weight of my cpu (screen+cpu+keybord) is around 18kgs

CPU can be strapped up (with a handle fashioned) so that you can carry it on board. No problem there. I wouldn't check it in if I were you. Screen is too bulky and not that safe to check in either, unless you still have the original box and protective polystyrene. Keyboard is still Ok topck with your lugguage.
