Which area do you need to stay? Here are some examples but they are pricey:

Some people do deals with guesthouses to stay there one month or more. Depends on what kind of extras you want from a serviced apartment. If you are not too fussed then a guesthouse could be a lot cheaper.

If you are staying more than six months, an apartment is the way to go. About 8 to 10k a month for a reasonable studio room close to town. You will be responsible for power and phone, about another 1000 to 2000 a month depending on useage. Not many places will let short term for that price, though you could find one.

Default Housing in bkk help..
hi all, might be moving to BKK to stay for awhile, wonder if any of u can help in sourcing or any info on renting a studio apartment ? prob like a 1 room wit living room /toilet with full amenties
which area will be most applicable? and how much shld i expect to pay monthly dun really have to be a grand place , just a ok and normal will do
i dont know what to expect, so help me out wit some valuable infos or help...
