yes i play battle field and COD as well but i have made lots of cash at tourneys in CS i know its old , but when your good at something its so hard to just give it up one day, i was wondering if there is lots of gamers in Thailand (which i assumed there would be) and if they had leagues, competative online and lan events

lan is better cheaters don't exist skill vs skill baby

if anyone plays on any other leagues (cod bf1942) or any game,
plz reply... would be cool to have a team goin

as far as Ragnarok online , oie... they haven't played Everquest 2 or World of Warcraft yet (betas are out in NA) almost goes live in 3 days for "wow".

those games blow away Ragnarok by far

LOL it wouldnt post cause of this

You won't have a problem finding game in Thailand. Don't know about tourneys or potential cha$h.
But why would anyone want to play CS when TFC is so much more stimulating ?

In Thailand I think you better stick with Gunbound lol, CS is sooooo well anyway. I always preferred TacOps, even Frag-Ops is better than CS. Have you ever played BF1942 or COD ?

World of Warcraft is amazing, if you even like an mmorpg a little bit, this one is the one

I spend 3 days playing it hard (3 days off work)

and that was just beta.

Everquest 2 wasn't as pretty , but it has its addictions

overall im giving the award to Blizzards world of warcraft

www.worldofwarcraft.com

its good stuff, comes out soon.

I will look for some cs tourneys on my own i guess not enough players

Counter Strike is still very popular in the internet cafes here. Ragnarok and other online role playing games are also popular. Here is a recent news article:

Quote[/b] ]Korean online games nab share of Thai market

BANGKOK - Ragnarok, a popular South Korean online game, is winning over a large number of fans among gamers in Thailand, according to a report by the Korea Trade Investment Promotion Agency's (KOTRA) representative office here.

The office said on Tuesday that 58.9% of those polled in a gamers' survey cited Ragnarok as their favorite cyber game.

The game, by South Korea's Gravity Corp, was able to attract gamers in Thailand by going local and upgrading its service infrastructure and game story line.

In particular, the company offered a Thai-language version of the game. Up until now Thais had to cope with games that used English as the primary language.

The local version of the popular online game, which has a large following in China, Japan and South Korea, also features an ancient Thai kingdom, which the company said contributes to greater interest in it.

The KOTRA office in Bangkok said that besides Ragnarok, other Korean-made cyber games are also doing well.

The only tourney I have seen here was a Ragnarok-tourney, held at Seacon (or Central, I am not sure). It was a pretty big show, but I didn't stay for too long, because Ragnarok is not my cup of tea - I just can't get past the kiddy graphics. I'm a bit too old to play an anime version of Teletubbies, lol.

CS is okay, it is indeed very popular in Thailand. Hey G0mer, did you play demo versions of Everquest 2 and/or World of Warcraft? If yes, how are they? They seem to be pretty interesting, from what I hear.

The error message appears because the program doesn't let any post through that has more than 5 emoticons. The solution is to delete/substitue them with old-school emos ;-) :-) ;p ^_^
