I am a photojournalist traveling in and out of Thailand.
I just returned from Isaan/ Surin/ Bur Ram during the November Rice Harvest. I am now writing a book for children on the story and culrture of rice in Thailand. I will be returning to explore this topic further in late January. During that time, although it is not a harvest time, will the new crops be planted and under cultivation? Will activities such as weeding and transplanting be ongoing in some regions that have continual planting cycles?
I am also looking for schools that may have rice projects or gardens that kids work on too. Please keep in touch with me at rspix@aol.com
