Do u you know if the left luggage counter is open 24 hours a day or if it closes at night? Because I'll be arriving in Bangkok around 11 pm and I would like to put my luggage in at that time without waiting for the morning after...

I remember seeing it a few years ago. Basically it was some shelves behind the counter. I am not sure what it is like these days. I'll try and find out for you tomorrow.

As far as I know, it's still like that. 70B per bag per day, and seems to be reasonably safe.

Yes, that's possible.

Actually, there are more than 1 counters where you can leave your luggage. Just ask someone on the airport and they will show you the way.

I have used the left luggage a few times and never had any problems with security. You go to counter, fill in a couple of forms and they open a side door and take the bags from you and place them in a locked room at the rear of the counter.

One thing to watch is that as Tjau Min says, there are a number of counters so be careful to remember where you leave it

Also there is one at international and one at domestic so be careful to choose the correct one so that if you are late getting back to airport you dont have to go to the other end of airport just to collect your bags.

Just a thought:
Three weeks at the airport will add up to a lot of baht.
Many hotels will store bags for guests at zero or very little cost other than a tip you may want to give the bellhop when
he puts the bag in their storage room (hint ).
Use a small lock or cable ties for a little security.
I'd be a little careful about some of the places on Koh Sahn Road though, there are stories about problems.
The hotel I stay at (mid range) will even let me keep my tickets etc. in their safe deposit box while I'm upcountry for a couple weeks. With the understanding that I will stay there when I return to BKK (usually the last two days before I fly home).

Thanks for that i hadn't actually considered the option of leaving it in a hotel. i guess i'm just lazy and just want the easy option of leaving it in the airport and it's good to hear from people who have used the facility. Thanks
