Default Thai attitudes
Of course, am not putting in general that all thais are good nor all thais are bad. I just had one experience in MBK wherein I asked discounts, then the saleslady shouted at me and said "Go away!". I felt embarrassed but I've got nothing to do or say. I also experienced that when a Thai does not understand your english, the easily got irritated.

Please share if you know some Thai traits whether it's good or bad.

Maybe you got proposed a discount at a wrong time (maybe she was having a bad day?). Normally when i ask for a discount, the saleperson will draw their weapon out - the calsulator and get all psyched up to get on the better side of the deal...5555

My question - abit off the topic though

'Do the thais hate hassling with tourists over discounts?' or 'Is hassling over price is a sort of unruly behaviour?'

Though we are doing better, for me , I do love to get a discount so I can buy more!!!
