Besides, Mitsurugi already has a pretty good sashi-men (B+forward).
Don't forget the tsuki (FORWARD+B UP)

Hey, I just thought it seemed cool.

BTW: I just got back from a MWKF summer camp, so I eventually sat back and pressed a few buttons to ease up on my muscle pain. Then it came to me.

Pointless. I think
There's already a Kenjutsu dude. He's already got kasumi and battou.

Better train Kendo at the dojo instead of waiting for a Kendo virtual guy

No prob.
I just don't think it would add anything cool enough to the marketing effort of the Soul Calibur franchise to add a kendo character. Another sexy gal would be a lot more beneficial in terms of marketing

Also, if you're into Kendo and videogames, it's quite possible you already own or have played it without it having the Kendo dude. So... pointless.

No offense intended

Default Question for anyone who has played Soul Calibur 2...
Alright, I know this is stupid, but this happens when you play a fighting game with a shinai in the corner of your eye.

I was thinking, with the extensive abilities game designers have today, wouldn't it be sweet if Namco could add in a kendoka in Soul Calibur 3? Imagine, he'd probably one of the fastest characters in the game, with plenty of counter-attacks and what-not. Namco could bring in a couple godans' or rokkudans' to make sure they get everything right in terms of realism.

Also, in SC2 each character had different weapons to choose from. For the kendoka, you could have dobari, and also other syles like jodan-no-kamai and nito-ryu.

..........well I think I'd be pretty cool.
