It has to be Sin City though I haven't read the comics yet and I shouldn't buy more stuff... hehe

Oh and Hell Boy was pretty good even though I have no idea about the comics

Bottom of the list would be League of Extraordinary Gentlemen - I had such high hopes for this film but it was the worse adaptation I've ever seen.

Batman Begins was solid and very close to Miller's Batman: Year One.

I thought Blade 1, that was really good, Blade 2 and 3 were just disappointing. Hellboy i thought was a really kool movies apart from the ending, and Ron Pearlman played a really good part as Hellboy.

I quite like Sin City. It's nice to see how they realize Miller's style, but the movie itself has no content if you don't read the comic book...

For some oldies, although I haven't seen it in ages - Dick Tracy is one of my fav.

I like ninja turtles 2, even if Vanilla Ice is on it.

Spiderman. It kept the look, feel and character content of the original story line. Nice work there.

And Hell-boy. Although I didnt really read the comics, Ive heard that they kept it true to form. But I really enjoyed the film alot.

Being a comic book fan myself, I guess you first have to define what it means to be a "good comic book movie". Is it a movie that stays close to the source material or is it just a good movie that happens to be based on a comic book.

In terms of staying close to the source material and being good, I have to say either The Crow or Sin City. In terms of just kicking ass as a movie, I would have to say Batman Begins...hands...down.

Spider-man is my favourite comic, so it really does pain me to say that it does not make my "Best comic book movie of all time" list, although I did still enjoy both Spidey films.

The best comic book to movie adaptations I have seen are Blade, and sincity. Sincity works better as a comic, blade was just a lot of fun. The hellboy film was degrading to the series in my opinion (being a huge fan of mignola's work), hellboy was portrayed as a dumb, boyish, out of control youth who wasn't likable or interesting which is just totally contrary to the spirit of the character. It was on par with the Constantine movie, inspired by hellblazer but not a hellblazer film, to me it is the same with hellboy. I am some what of a pureist.

But it's just a tease poster, thought GR looks sooooo good in it! Now I remember why I connect Blade with him, they both wear leather jackets and drive motocycles. Of course GR's bike's kewler, heheheh

The movie or the comic books? The movies, in my opinion, were entertaining but corny. The comic book was entertaining without cornyness.

I also vote for Spider-Man. Or perhaps X-men, even though they made Cyclops a sissy.

(That reminds me of that old joke, I think it was a Larson! cartoon, when you see a man in a bar, and everybody around him is knocked out cold, and the text says: no one ever again called S:t Francis a sissy. Off topic, but funny as hell.)

Thank god they took away his yellow underwear, otherwise it could be worse, lol I'm sure the actor refused to wear them that's why they came up with all the new uniforms, hehehe I'm also a cyclops fan here OPTIC BLASTTTTTT! I used to be really good at X-Men vs Street Fighters
Yeah, yellow underwear outside your pants isn't exactly... well, it's a bit... shall we say, tacky?
