This dosnt happen anywhere but on the flame board, right?

I was reading the get out of my dojo thread. Sad, scary and pathetic all rolled into one. Good idea: be polite, bad bad bad execution. Im just hoping stuff like that dosnt happen alot. Im all about the peace, love, unity and respect. (plur...way too many raver friends...) Im the hippie with out the drugs.

Alot of people just forget that when you hurt someone online the pain won't go away once the other person turns off his or her pc. It's not all virtual as some people like to say.

Just treat people with respect and sure there will always be moments that you will snap at someone but that's just life. We all have our weak moments.

Why dont people have honor and moral standing anymore these days?

I really hope the kendo world isnt like this. Me getting kicked from my ballet company (spite the loss of money...though ballerinas get pain crap) is starting to look ever more wonderful everyday....
Sadly, dishonorfull ppls are found in all communities. I've literally heard ppls say things like "I don't care if my armor isn't tied correctly" or "I don't care about my equipment as long as I don't get another's broken sword in my face".

Also seen ppls not bowing when entering the dojo when the sensei is looking the other way. I actually got in a fight over that once, I poked the guy who refused to bow like "hey, aren't you forgetting something?" and he suddenly started to yell at me. In the end I got my right when the sensei interfered and the guy hasn't been back since

My sensei always tought me, if your not sure if you should bow (or any custom really), just bow anyway, it's better to bow one time to many than to be disrespectfull by not bowing at all.

Never mind that! The world has always been like this before you, and will stay so after. You don't judge - just try to make all'em better even against their wish. Remeber, dances should fly over the heads instead creeping under knees.

Sorry piggy, I meant "hardcore" religion mixing, I remember someone was banned about that. Just remember, KENDO IS NOT A RELIGION!
sorry i misunderstood you. yeah. alot of people get banned for that sort of thing. not because thier very devoted but because they get into huge arguments with other members.

mugu, mixing religions into kendo isnt a problem at all. just as long as they dont take it to the forums and argue about it like so many of them do. im religious but i've never gotten myself banned or even said a single word about it in the dojo.

I love to post on dance.net although I look like a hippo in my tights... I used to be known by my friends at the convent as the 'lord of the dance'... happy days...
....hmmm this explains so much....

Don't really worry about it. I mean its just a board. Whats the worst that can happen, someone not like you?
No, I take it further and mock those who deserve the merciless wrath... of my wrath.
