as if there arent enough people dying all over the world from natural disasters.
i will never understand why anyone would want others dead.
it makes me very sad for humanity...

Gibbo, Darts, Anjin, Jakob, Mugu and the rest; I truly hope you and your friends and families escaped this evil.
Whoops...not that I don't wish Mugu the best, but I don't know why I thought you were in London. I was on a roll...

According to the BBC news on the television, Al Qaeda have already claimed it!

The mobiles were shut down because of the sheer number of people using them.
Don't know where the eight bombs thing came from, that hasn't been on the BBC news yet.

Sorta makes you appreciate more what all those US/British/coalition forces are fighting for.

Tim[/QUOTE]

I really don't appreciate this kind of remark, and that's putting it mildly. I intend to keep my politics out of this, I had hoped others would do the same.

New York, now London. Paris Amsterdam or Tokio next? I can't understand why they target innocent people instead of fighting like real men.

Al Qaida again?? Or the IRA?
If it's Al Qaida, perhaps they're targetting nations with troups in Iraq to "persuade" them to withdraw their troups?

Let’s keep politics out of this; there will be time enough for that later. The people who did this are evil and do this out of hatred and a twisted world view. While we may differ about our methods of defeating them we all agree they must go. My thoughts are with the victims today and nowhere else.
On that, we are in agreement.

Whoa. I am watching Kings X station live on BBC now... That's not very pleasant news...

Scotland better be careful. They said it has something to do with the G8!
Yeah, its out of control here with riots, if it wasn't the protest in Edinburgh, they have now focused on Stirling. Thankfully im the west coast so im not effected

I didn't intend for this to be a political statement and if it was, i apologize. I just wanted to give props where they were due for the people fighting terrorism. The last thing I wanted to do is to turn this into a political thread.

Glad to know most of you are OK. I used to travel (enroute Hizen/ old Wakaba) on that same route where that bus blasted. So it's very shocking to see that area turning into terrorist's hotspot.

Mr. kurukuru... You are a bit behind... I have moved back to Hong Kong for almost half a year now...

But that does remind me that the next WTO summit will be in Dec this year in HK - and there is a great amount of skyscrapers over that side...

Default All Londoners OK?
Just turned on the television this morning, is everyone OK?

For non-Brits just reading this, its just been reported that we've had multiple explosions on numerous underground stations and three london buses, towards the end of the morning rush hour. Casualty reports haven't come in yet.

Glad to hear that you guys are okay.

Can't help but to think that we (Australia, Sydney in particular) is next on the list. T_T

At least the UK has had terrorism activities before which provided valuable experience to the rescue crews etc. Sydney is such a virgin in comparison and our rail network during peak hour is absolutely crazy. There are always so many people in the subway during peak hour traffic as most people travel to the city by train/bus. I've actually considered not working in the city for the next few years.
