Best of returns to you too! Now, you look down the barrel of 30. Start planning a mid-life crisis early so you can really do a good job of it.
If you decide to follow this advice then I suggest you start saving money to buy a bogu like this one in your mid-life crisis

Yeah the 30s treshhold is on the corner, as for midlife crisis i've seen some pretty funny and not so funny stuff happen to men at that stage of there life.

Now, here's a cheer-you-up on the subject of kids. Imagine yourself with a couple of sons/daughters all lined up in seiza with your bogu in the dojo. I get to do that a couple times a week.
I dunno how you thought that it would cheer me up, but that vision is pretty relaxing, it's as if you taped into my mind lol, does that power come with the whole father thing?

If you decide to follow this advice then I suggest you start saving money to buy a bogu like this one in your mid-life crisis
As you said i'll have to start saving from now on unless i get to mary a rich woman or win the lottery.

Don't worry about it, it's a great age to be. Young enough to want to stay in the fight, but old enough to have an idea of what you're fighting for.
Happy Birthday.

24? And you want sympathy? *chuckles*

I've turned 29 for the sixth year in a row this year. No sympathy here.
Remember this joke?

I wish my Kendo grade can move up as fast as my number on the upper right corner (age), lol It also freaked me out when I saw it changed, lol I feel old... anybody got sympathy?
You may find "sympathy" between "s**t" and "syphillis" in the dictionary.

You know, I found 25 to be a tough age to hit. All your friends are out of college, getting married, having kids and it's getting harder to pretend you're not a grown-up. Plus your insurance rates go down, so there's basically nothing to look forward to except retirement.
Unless you're in the US - where we move the retirement age out two years, every other year to pay for Social Security. Birth...school...work...death (loved the GodFathers).

Happy birthday! Just remember, every year means a bigger cake to hold the candles. Unless someone's cheap and just buys that big plastic number thing...

C'mon poser. S'not bomb anymore. It's "tight," and "bad." "Bomb" is only for the wannabe. Sheesh.

I feel bad for even knowing that. I can't wait to be old . . . Then I can talk about how boisterous and rowdy kids are. Maybe shoot at the starlings that infest my house? Those'll be the days.

That is so cool. Nothing beats kendo children.
