I'd love to see my family and friends try Kendo so they might understand a little better why I like it so much and it would be easier to explain the answers to their questions about it.

Either that, or I'll just keep on getting random comments like, "so how is that ninja karate thing going?"

Darth Vader - he doesn't even need to wear bogu, and the cape is a nice touch!

Oh yeah. I agree. My coworkers should suit up. Maybe then I'll stop hearing "Doing a little swordfighting tonight? *snicker**snicker*" God that gets annoying after a while.

Other than that, I'd like to see Karl Rove in bogu - to see just how far his famous strategery will get him. He'd probably feel too dirty yelling "MEN!" though.

Hank.

I would like to see Beckham do that shoot after 1 year of serious kendo training and to see how it must have changed him personally.

And this counts for any of all those holywood wannabee samurai/ninja out there.

Tom Cruise. So I can Katate Tsuki his 'Last Samurai' azz out the window.
Steven Segal- You've seen his movies full of Asian people

Wesley Snipes- Wanna see how he can hold up with the BLADE tactics.

P.S.- What are 'karate' wazas?

Man, do you guys remember that horrid Pepsi girl a few years back? You know, the one that was so irritating you were tempted to torch your home just to get rid of the TV?

Yeah, I think she'd make a good target for beginners

Even though he's been pretty quiet lately... Fred Durst. I'd love to miss doh on his pansy ribcage.

Bill Gates - To learn how to be ruthless in competition
Let the kids handle him. Our Gang of Four (the Considine sisters) should be able to deal with him pretty quickly.

Dick Cheney - I don't think he'd be any good, but I'd sure enjoy tsuki-ing that crooked old bastard to the wall
May I have the tai-atari then?

Defintely Bechkham. So, I can see him take his 'wanna-be - bat grip - Hasso' posture, and then strike his left Kote fifty billion time's. And Tom Cruise. So I can Katate Tsuki his 'Last Samurai' azz out the window.

For all the Australians on this forum, Rove McManus. I'm not a fan and I think he deserves a good tsuki!

Who I would most like to see do kendo?

How about myself I'm still doing something that remotely resembles it.

The Governator! I wanna see how many shinais he'll break before doing a shomen correctly And he'll have something proud to tell the Californians instead of putting product placements in his conferences to distract his audiences, lol

Cheney, Rumsfield and Bush - nuff said!

Mugabe - nuff said!

Beckham - So I can say to him "This is kendo." Then tsuki and tai atari him to oblivion.

In fact...put Bush and Saddam in Bogu and go "hajime!"

Blair can have Mugabe...since they both love each other so...actually Blair gets a bokuto.
