I'm curious what this data will tell you? Wouldn't this be more valuable if you knew what percentage of the members were female? Just in case, we have 8 female and approximately* 20 males. So we are near 29% female, but they regularly make up a slightly larger percentage of people present for any one class at this time.
*The total population is a bit hard to track as some people are so busy and come and go. I'm sure you're all familiar with this. |

Hi!
Well since this poll is for a maths class, this poll is completely flawed. Percentages will not help. The reason is because there could be several members of the same dojo voting on this poll. That will totally screw up your results. If you want true results, you will have to make sure people can see who voted, so they will not vote when their dojomate has already voted, and state that you only want one member from each dojo to vote. You don't want multiple votes from the same dojo. The dojo member voting needs to be at their dojo on a consistant basis to be able to know if any girls are in the dojo and how many, unless they call and ask someone who is usually there for this info. Otherwise, the statistics you are looking for will end up flawed and this poll will not be of use to you. It would not be helpful to you for me to vote because of the already flawed state your poll is in. My dojomate could have already voted. Maybe you can set up a new poll. Hope this helps! I hope you can get it worked out for your class. I hope you get a good grade! Kaoru |
