what is this? some crappy wrestling shit`?

I donīt know much about this kinds of hoaxes, but if its in vegas, and called "ultimate fighting" it canīt be serious.
Making a "reality" show with a little add of violence is just the shit that I hate. Apparently the fighters will live in the same house during the fights just to build up conflicts.
The producers seems to foster the beliefs that people just want to see others suffering.

The title confused me. I thought it was going to be the AJKF Championship. From the other post, they said that it was going to be today.

Why can't one who hates himself love another?
Let me ask you this, how can somebody give something he/she doesn't have?

But it's nothing physical. Love cannot exist when one is not loved can it. Thus, it must rely on the setting more than the mind

well, hate kinda kills love, doesenīt it, so when theres hate there is no love. Then you cant obviously love another.

Watch out though, if you love yourself too much then you won't have the energy to love anyone else. And you'll go blind apparently.

I think the word love and hate might be used to quick.

We all know hate consumes and if one really hate oneselves then one would never allow someone else to love him/her as one would be discusted with just the thought of someone loving him/her just because of ones hate.

But then you know what they say true love conqueres all. So even someone who would hate oneself would finally burnout and learn to see oneselves wrong and in the end love would conquer.

I for one am with anastacia on this. I am really looking forward to the finals. This ain't no fake ass wrestling, this is the real deal and the only reason it is held in vegas is because that is one of the few states where the state athletic commision will approve a "pro" fight with the particular ruleset that UFC follows.

Whaaaaaaa, "its an abuse of an art" and there's "too much hate in the world". Stop it, it sounds so self rightous and phoney! These guys train to fight, they are professionalsand it is what they choose to do for a living do for a living. Just like a boxer.

I think you can see UFC as a form of extreme entertainment in which professionals that train full time between fights are the entertainers.

But then that's my personal opinion

OK...I'll bite on this one...This show is definitely not like those professional wrestling storyline shows..It is based on gathering 18 of the most promising aspiring pro-am fighters throughout the U.S. and having them train and compete for an opportunity to fight in the UFC.

Season 2 started out as a disappointment...You had two guys who literally threw away the golden opportunity to become professional fighters in the UFC. They basically quit and walked away from the competition...

This group just didn't seem as hungry or have the drive as the first season's fighters..Also, you could tell in the early fights that some of them kind of gave up in the middle of the fight..

Towards the end of the season it definitely got better in that the quality of the techniques used in the fights and the heart of the fighters showed.

For the Heavy Weight Division this is going to be an interesting fight because the two finalists are so different in size...Rashad Evans will have his work cut out for him in that his opponent is 8" taller and about 40 pounds heavier. I think he will be able to win if he can keep his distance with leg kicks and avoid being taken down and wait for the big guy to gas out or go down from the leg kicks...then he can go for the KO or submission...Otherwise, Imes will just do what he did to the other guy and just take him down and use his size and weight to ground and pound.

The big guy doesn't always win thought...Sakuraba was able to overcome a similar height/weight deficit when he fought Silveira a few years back.

The welterweight final is going to be very interesting too....Luke Cummo vs. Joe Stevenson....Both are excellent fighters....It will be decided on who can bring out their best on the day of the final...I think if Luke keeps the fight off the floor and uses his reach, conditioning and lion's heart to his advantage, he just might come out on top. That is, If he can keep Stevenson from taking him down for the GNP or submission....However, Stevenson is a more experienced fighter with over 25 professional fights and has held titles in several organizations and weight divisions so being in a important match is nothing new to him...

I'm rooting for Luke Cummo...Hopefully he will come out on top and redeem it for all of us who have been 'picked last' for anything...

I am rooting for Luke too! I love that he is a dork and is into all the "martial artsy" kind of stuff like meditation and punching boulders and eating wierd stuff to boost his KI. I hope he knocks Joe out!!!!I hope it does not happen until round three though so will still get to watch them fight for 3 rounds. It should be good!
