Hiya guys,

I'll be volunteering a the La Crosse tai kai which I'll help keeping scores and such. I took down a lot of notes, but one thing still got me confused is:

-When the first point is scored... say Men. I ciricle it right?
-If the same person scores again, do I circle it or not?

I just wanna make sure so I don't mess it up during the tai kai. Anyone knows please help me out. Thanks for any input!

Circle the first point, and only the first point - EXCEPT if it was scored during encho, in which case you don't circle it at all (this way, even if you don't have an 'encho' mark), you can tell whether that single point was scored during normal play or 'after hours'. At least that's the way I normally see it done.

Thanks, I got a bit confused. It would be really sucks if I give people the wrong score during a match ya know? hehehe

...I kinda remember that there is a 2nd big circle like

(M (M))

for 2-point wins. A Japanese senpai told me that it is to indicate who won that match - makes it easier to do score-counting, especially during team matches.

But maybe other rules apply in other areas. Just check before hand...
