Speaking of potatoes...I'm reminded of this thing I saw a long while ago on television...this guy (or guys, I don't remember...) were growing sprouts on potatoes and went around parading them as "Bonsai Potatoes" or something to that effect...anyone see that? Or was it just a bad, bad dream...
Don't worry, it wasn't just you. I almost bought one, but then, realizing just how big the Irish heritage is in my blood, I figured I'd probably just eat it.

And I can find cheaper potatoes for eating, I am sure.

Well then, you'll never guess what I have sitting in my window. Its been there for almost a year now. Not really doing anything. Just getting wrinkly-er. It was a pretty lame Christmas gift.
Funny though, it came with a little potato pedastool and it has some writing on it that i can't translate but probably says "This is a lame Christmas gift for suckers". It also came with little cute mini-shears for pruning the potato sprouts and tweezers for heaven knows what.
Oh and it has an instruction booklet.
(Step one.) put potato on pedastool.
(Step two) Look at it.
(Step three) Basically ignore it untill someone brings it up again and try desperately to make it sound as cool as possible.
(Step four) Remain a virgin untill age 47
(Step five) Die lonely.

*sigh* Suddenly, I don't like Christmas anymore...
