I was in IKET about two months ago, and I was talking to Sumi-sensei and Chiba-sensei. I asked them whether or not they'd be interested in doing an event like IKET in Canada (Toronto, to be exact). They said that they'd be interested in doing it, and Chiba-sensei added that he'd like to see his kohai Kimura-sensei again (after which, they gave me their business cards). So, anyways, if I were to help plan an event like this, who would be willing to help? And any ideas on what the actual event will involve?

Your best bet would be to contact senseis of the Toronto Kendo club, U of T Kendo club, York Kendo club, JCCC, etc. to see what's their level of interest. Of course, if you can manage to get Sumi-sensei and Chiba-sensei to contact them, it'd be 10x better.
