That's a cool (and very old it seems) pic, however I'd like to clarify that it's Nito and not Niten.

Ooh, nice pic. Hard to say who'd win though...

Depends. In an evenly matched situation, the winner is the one who can capitalize on the first mistake.

I don't care a whole lot. But I have to say, you did a wonderful job with your html as well as avoiding the point.

Well, sorry you got grumpy even though I said it was a cool picture. But the thing is that some people here (not me) go bonkers whenever someone confuses nito (kendo) with niten (kenjutsu). Now as to who would win, I'd bet on Naginata. The shoto probably isn't long enough to cover the sune ate.

No offence but as a kenshi you should care, Lloromanic underlined those terms to make a point not to post web links thus your sarcastic comment was uncalled for.

BTS:
Can't guess who'd win but i would want to see a naginata vs nito match up.

And not "any" kenshi, but a kendo 3rd kyu according to his profile. Really cool attitude towards his own art.

I don´t care a whole lot about how the match ended, the answer is easy: probably the best kenshi. That is irrelevant to the coolness of the picture.

Naginataka use far less strength than us kendoka.. You should watch a few naginata matches.

As for range, well at the beginning yes, but when the kendoka is able to enter his oponent's guard then he's dead.
That's why ishu jiai can be pretty well "balanced", imo.

PS: The pic won't display for me
