Happy "saying thanks for the good stuff we have and giving stuff to people" day! Thanksgiving actually is a day of thanks only though. We give thanks for those around us, what we have and for our friends, etc. We have a big feast and serve turkey usually, with stuffing and cranberry sauce, pumpkin pies, stuff like that. I just learned the other day... did you know that some Native American cultures refer to Thanksgiving Day as the Day of Mourning? Quite interesting... Always interesting when things are viewed from different directions. There's a danish king which is called Christian the tyrant in Sweden and Christian the good in Denmark, kind of the same thing And Happy Thanksgiving! I have no idea what exactly you are celebrating, but good luck with it anyway |
