Going up to my sensei and asking for advice on preventing breast-bruising do misses, and so on, would feel wierd.
And actually, the breast-bruising is not just a cosmetic issue if anyone thought that. I do know more than one female kendoka who has gotten questions and comments about how her boyfriend is treating her. And believe me, the answer "nono, I got these bruises when doing kendo" gets about the same response as "I fell down the stairs", ie noone will believe you.

This thread is not in the womens forum.
Lesson according to Ignatz.

How does one hook a fish?
Throw some bait into the water and wait for the fish to open it's mouth.

Kendo lesson.
Some people who took Hai-Hai's bait would have been better off giving it back to him and this would have been a fun thread.
I think they call that "The reflection of the moon in the stream".

Love that witty repartee, hate that seriousness.

Go read the "groundrules" thread and you'll see that relevant and constructive posts where guys have something useful to contribute are welcomed... and not removed unless they do a troll.:
That's funny though since I don't see any ground rule on other forums and when a troll post there, we know them and the troll killing are so fun that it brighten up the days

BUT- let's be honest, how many of the (majority) male kendoka are TRULY intersted in some of the thing that women find relevant? Or can comment from experience?:
Lustfully, I do

Think guys: how many of you would PREFER to go to a female doctor to discuss suspected testicular cancer...?:
Proundfully, I do and I find it mericulouly cure completely especially if the female doctor just graduated adn attractive.

Seriously - Chidokan, get a life! The women's forum is NOT sexist or politically incorrect. There are issues when it comes to women doing kendo - i'm talking HEALTH issues rather than how we look when we do kendo! If I cared if I looked Sexy doing a Martial Art then i'd be a rather shallow person wouldn't I! Things like the best type of sports bra are important - a woman can hurt herself otherwise. If people have things against the women's forum then FINE, but don't moan about them. GreenArrow and I PM'd back and forth trying to work out the best way to do this. This is the best way, deal with it!

There are some of us who follow your discussions with interest, and not because we're particularly pervy...

Understanding the problem is the first step toward making things better and more enjoyable for everyone. If it's more enjoyable, more will stay in kendo.

yep... understanding is key! (sorry, i'm sounding like a psycho here, i'm not!)

If guys can grasp things like the fact that if you hit a woman high up on the dou it'll hurt her... if you pay attention and understand that it does hurt, we'll be less likely to want to ram our shinai between your legs... not that i would of course

Don't worry, the fact that if the Do hit too high, not only women hurt but men hurt too. Generally, a missed hit always hurt.

Like I said, I don't have problem with women forum, I even like it too but "Men-troll" make me uncomfy. what happen to "Women-troll"?

true, but women tend to hurt more... think blow to the crotch!

btw... it's ANYONE who does a troll, not just men! I know it was a worry that some guys would mis-use the forum, but I honestly don't think that anyone on KWF would anyway - we're all such wonderfully well adjusted people (*twitches and shivers uncontrollably)

Until now, I still don't believe she was a troll. I think she just had a loud mouth and she directly insulted the moderator.

just think of it as their girly division in a taikai. Dumb outsider question ... Women have their own division in competition? Never knew that. Is there a reason other than standard Japanese male sexism?

Just curious.

Me neither, somehow I forgot about Marubaii and the closest female I could relate to "troll" was Confound. I rescind my earlier assertion and substitute "Marubaii" in her place.
