Hmm - I was thinking, more likely, Rational corresponds to thinking/feeling - seems to make more sense. I think the Brutal thing doesn't correspond to anything and sensing/intuition isn't overtly called out. But maybe not.

I was thinking it used brutal/gentle to correspond to thinking/feeling because thinkers are sometimes portrayed as cold and calculating people. Arrogant probably corresponds to judging while perceiving is seen as humble. Just a guess though.

Yeah, I think we both gave the testmaker a little more credit than he deserved. Sensing/intuition (in how it's used in Briggs-Meyers) relates to how your mind works - it has nothing to do with rationality. Many of societies most intelligent people were highly rational and intuitive. *shrug*
