Thats my promblem too. I'm doing haya-suburi everyday till I drop in an effort to increase my stamina. There are better ways to increase your stamina(cross training). I just really really hate running or doing anything else besides kendo to improve my endurance. IMO, keiko is more tiring and strenuous than running. first of all, you're using your entire body, there's a good amount of weight in a shinai, so your arms get tired...AND you're wearing armor, so there's little breathing room so you heat up quick :P |
