And why would you advertise a competing forum on an existing forum that already serves the public well? In some forums, that would be grounds for a ban.

It is pretty much established that you don't know doodly squat about kendo.

Let's start now!!! Go to kendo classes as often as you can. Learn how to do it. Use your two ears and one mouth so you can listen twice as much as you talk. Practice, practice, practice. Then practice some more. If you are very observant you will understand nothing in about five years and perhaps you will stop oozing sanctimonious, meaninless tripe. I certainly hope so.
How's that?

Woah, are you trying to use big words and confuse people? Have you even taken one kendo class?

But to answer your rhetorically loaded question. . .
How about if you explain what a rhetorically loaded question is then explain why you think his question was rhetorically loaded then perhaps you could answer his question in a complete, accurate and truthful way.

His post was obviously insincere in content, hence rhetorical.
Since the question on the outset appeared sincere, but by intonation was not, it was a loaded question.
Therefore, rhetorically loaded.
Therefore, by your definition, everything that has ever come out of your mouth on this forum has been rhetorically loaded.

We have a forum. Our avatars are big, and we have more psycho's than kwf, but on average our psycho's are less crazy than the average kwf psycho. It is a land of fertile plains, many virgins, where gibbo reigns supreme.

The latter rather negates the former, does it not?

Edit: Aw crap, Shelly's on the same frequency and beat me to it.

If Gibbo reigns supreme, I'm surprised there are any virgins left.

Gibbo. Read this. Your rep for kendoka molestation dwarfs any tales told about me.

According to Gibbo, it is your amorous advances that account for the high number of virgins in the first place.

And so the tales of my legendary exploits grow. Gibbo says a lot of things, we just feed him beer and he teaches us kendo. Questioning the arrangement only leads to tears.

In any event, It's become glaringly obvious that you, Ignatz, are not interested in fostering the positive contributions that others attempt to make concerning Kendo or anything else for that matter.

Have you taken the the time to contribute anything useful at all in this forum?
Have you spent any time creating anything useful for other people at all?
Based upon all of the posts I have read, the answer is no.
You spend your time putting others down, placing negativity towards in your art, and frankly, if you really are a Nidan, you ought to be ashamed of yourself.
I wonder when it was that you lost your compassion and maturity, or even if you ever had it at all.

Do you enjoy looking down on others, especially those who are trying their best? Wait, let me answer that:
Yes, you do.

I may be new to Kendo, but I know enough to know that many years from now with respect to Kendo, I don't want to be anything like you.

You seem to equate time spent in a Dojo as time spent toward being "better".
If by better you mean in physical skill, then of course I cannot put forth any argument. If by better you mean a better person, then you may have missed that mark.
Do you think you deserve some special medal for respect from others just because you made it to a certain rank?
In the Dojo, I'd say yes.
Here, on the forums, I'd say you get exactly what you project.
And If I myself have projected as you say, sanctimonious, meaningless tripe, then I have to look at that, and I will. But what about you, Ignatz? Does Nidan make you immune?

I can honestly tell you that I have personally seen nidan and above on occasion revisited by senior sensei with respect to certain movements which are the same basics that I am currently learning. There appears to be no, "Ok, I've mastered this, and now I can move on."

You said before that I don't know "didly squat" about Kendo.
While that may be true in a broad sense, that's hardly true in a literal sense.
But it's funny that you say that, because that's exactly what some higher grade Kendoka say about themselves sometimes.

It's an ever learning process, where mastery is not the goal.
That much I have been taught, and it really seems you have forgotten it.

On that subject, are you saying that because I am not of a certain rank, or a certain "time" spent practicing that I cannot contribute anything to the art?
In action, we are doing, therefore by any action, we are making a contribution.
You are what you do.
I am a beginning Kendoka student, but a Kendoka none the less.
And by your offensive attitude, you are shaming not only yourself, but a fellow kendoka as well.
I am always the student, much as you are as well.
You might want to consider that.

~Are you saying that none of my other skills which I have acquired over my life are any less valid when it comes to Kendo?
Is that how you view things?
Wait, let me answer that:
No one knows more about *anything* than you do.

Nidans are just like Chuck Norris.
Godlike.

~That anyone who isn't on the same "level" as you, is somehow inferior outside your own Dojo?
Is that what Kendo means to you?
That's not what it means to me, and I don't have to be graded to know that.
It doesn't really matter.
No one can say anything to you.
You've got all the answers to life's questions.
You've got it all figured out, and no one of less rank than you can say different.
Why, you're a Kendo Saint!
I really hope that you've got something other than Kendo in your life to guide you, I really do.
For whatever reasons in your life you have chosen a darker path, and allowed your idiosyncrasies to get the best of you, as an outside observer you appear to be lacking in many things substantially.

The Kendo world is small, comparatively.
I honestly hope we get a chance to meet someday face to face.
(I mean this in a good way.)
I'd like to see if you have grown as much as I will have.
While you may best me in a match,
I've already won, because you have already defeated yourself.

I am finished with our diatribe and this post for now,
Though no doubt you'll think of creative ways to cowardly slander me yet again in my absence,
However I don't fault you.
That's what trolls do.

I honestly wish all the best for you in all that you do.
I don't get why no one else notices this. Ignatz is the most arrogant prick on KW forums. He thinks he's such a great person because he's old and holds a nidan. Nidan = 3~5 yrs of kendo training, I don't see why he uses that as a way to look down on others. I think he just had a sad life.

Oh ya since we visited you guys last week, introduce yourself next time we stop by. We all went to the strip of restaurants and settled on Gordon Biersch after.
