For us Duchies out there. How did you spend queens day? I had fun in Leeuwarden (a miracle on it's own) and we had sun all day (unlike the rest of the Netherlands), I spend my entire afternoon drinking beer in the sun on a terrace with some very nice looking ladies.

For a you guys and girls who want to visit our little country. Queens day is a national holiday on which we celebrate the queens birthday (although her real birthday is in February). It's is, or better said was, the birthday of our queen mother. The country basically turns into one big flee market and the queen visits a few cities and loads of festivities.
