Guys and Girls,
In light of the actions of recent donkeys on KWF, perhaps its time for a new association that encompasses iaido, kendo and kenjutsu. We will draw techniques from Yagyu Shinkage Ryu, Katori Shinto Ryu, Rurouni Kenshin Ryu, Itto Ryu, Niten Ichi Ryu and Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu. Bokken sparring is expected, as is paired shinken kata practice. Anyone interested? |

Common Scott why not let us use live swords.
We let the beginners spar the seniors, to make it easier on the beginners we give the beginners 2 swords and the senior only 1 sword cause they already should know how it works. What do you think. And armours aren't needed. Geez why even use bogu's they are too heavy and give me already an headache when I get hit by some. |

I would like to apply, but the only sword I have is a semi-blunt bread knife (habiki?!). Though in my quest as a samurai it has already helped me deal justice to a dead cat I found on the street, 3 garden chairs when I got bored, and my mate Dave's ear (again) when we were playing knifey-knifey. Don't ask.

Actually, I was thinking of full-on montsuki/kimono and grey-striped hakama - maybe even kamishimo (seeing as we are samurai)...
