Did not know where to post this one

One of my colleagues had a nipple ring torn off during keiko. Ouch!!

Apart from the obvious (ie remove jewelry, tape down rings) does anyone have other advice?

BTW is there women's bogu out-there with special padding or special features that might offer better protection. I heard Nike had something but I could not find a retailer.
Note - he didn't actually say that the victim was male . . .

He didn't say the victim was male and asked about women's bogu in the same breath. I was under the impression from the beginning that the unfortunate ring wearer was female.

Yea I think you guys are right it was a female. By the way what is up with body piercing? I hear once you get a tattoo, they become addicting. Is it true with body piercing too? And that tongue piercing is over rated. If what they say is true about tongue piercing, guys would have pierced their hands a long time ago.

Thanks folks,

I guess she is out of luck and there aren't any women friendly Do's that might help. I wil suggest she removes the ring althoug I expect that she won't. Such is life.

Mark
