Yeah, hey if you are into 15 - 18 year old high school girls. Sure, knock yourself out.

I'm not so sure, that first video of a thousand girls doing kirikaeshi looked scary. One thousand angry tribbles with sticks.
Now that's what call gurl power... from now on, whenever I feel depress about not enough girls are doing Kendo in my dojo... I'll go to that site. There should be a Female Kendoka versus Male Kendoka tournament every year somewhere in this world... I think Fonsz will glady hosts one, will you? Fonsz?

Women enter men's tournaments all the time. Wasn't it just last year or the year before Mako Hayashi made top 4 at PNKF?

It's a sad fact that some girls from this same age group are into enjokousai, but you'd be thankful that there are plenty out there doing more positive things for there teenage lives.

Essentially, teenage prostitution. Girls who charge for dates+ to buy designer clothing, gadgets and the trappings of the Good Life.

Makes me glad I only have sons to worry about...

As an olde english cricket saying goes....
There's also the American version: If there's grass on the green, it's O.K. to putt. A Kendo friend of mine mentioned that once and then a few days later we were at a Chinese restaurant after practice and he turned to a 15 year old girl and asked (teapot in hand), "coffee, tea, or me?" Wrong. So wrong.

i thought the american version was: "if there's grass on the field, play ball". at least that's how i've heard it somewhere....

now about the videos... who would be brave enough to go into the midst of that sea of angry girls shinai in hand wearing this t-shirt? http://www.backstreetmerch.com/item.asp?id=bog09

that'd make for a very good renzoku-waza kakari-geiko practice. your very last.

Aah if only I had the time and the place for such a major event. I can see it now Female vs Male tai kai. We now have to think what the prizes will be when the male or the female group wins. I shudder at the thought at what the girls will come up with when they win.

I think that every single member of the losing men's team would quitKendo and retire to live as a hermit. Their psyche would be crushed by the cruel femmes.

I shudder at the thought about what some boys may come up with.
Quiting Kendo after a match if that was the standard there wouldn't be much Kendoka left. Male or Female.

Well I just like to think that they may use their chance to settle all those centuries of oppression.

Now that you mention it they remind me of the Clone Troopers from Star Wars Ep III
