Due to Buddhist leanings I "can't" any more... but have never been tested on this too strongly as bugs aren't life threatening here. Since not killing I've become a lot less scared of all manner of bugs and become a master at catching wasps due to living in an old attic. My technique is:

1 Open a window

2 Get small plastic lunch box (just the base, not the top) and large stiffish but thinish paper - large postcard/card/thin brochure are all ideal. Lunch box allows you to see what's going on, won't break if you drop it, and is large enough to make catching easy.

3 Re-check location of bug/wasp. Unless it's swarm season (eg summer) the wasp will actually be very easy to catch, quite slow and dopey.

4 Place lunch box upside down over critter (this works for wasp even if its on a curtain, as it will usually walk onto the inside of the lunchbox if you shift it a little)

5 slip card under the box trapping the critter and then carefully and quickly turn box right side up so critter is still trapped inside, held in by card.

6 Go to window, quickly empty critter out, slam window shut

I'm fine with spiders, scorpions, wasps etc. If I find them I catch 'em and let them go in the garden.

I stomp roaches, mosquito and flies...especially roaches...eeew.

Well my family is buddhist...

so everytime there was a spider in the house or seomthing, my parents would grab it and let it "free" but if i see i spider i stomp, cuz spider bites are niice and friendly. And especially ants..i cant stand them, if you see one you're bound to see more. But I don't go around in life trying to kill every bug I see

No, bugs cover the entire gamut of religions, some are muslim, some are christian and, in eastern europe, some are even ultra orthodox jews (you can spot them by their cool hats).
Ah, good information there. Personally, I utterly despise wasps (been repeatedly assaulted by them), but I don't mind bee's since they must kill themselves to harm me.

In general, I leave them alone, but if they are bothering me I generally take that as a request to send them on to the next life quickly.

The only thing I'm terrified of is Bumblebees, which luckily I only see very rarely. Once in the countryside near Naples I got brutalised by Bumblebees that were so big they looked like flying mice and sounded pretty much like helicopters. Not v nice!
