Default Chocolate Covered HobNob Biscuit - Emergency!
Can anyone help me with a work discussion here?

Is there such a thing as HobNob bicuits that are TOTALLY coated in chocolate? I'm sure I remember these, but nobody could find any in Sainsbury's at lunchtime. I DON'T mean square biscuit bars, but normal, round HobNobs.

Is my mind manufacturing memories based on what I want to be true?

Please send help!!!!

You're not alone. I seem to remember these.

Always thought that they were for weaning the young ones onto the way of the true hobnob. (A man's biscuit!)

No use in tea or coffee as you wind up drinking a proper brew crossed with hot chocolate.

Cheers,

Matt.

Ah, for a life in which the main concern was chocolate hobnobs... it has to be either terminal boredom or you are fighting to stave off some horrendously deep problem from your conscious... one way or the other may you find your ideal hobnob and enjoy it and its many companions on my behalf... as I tend to put on weight if I even glance at a carrot too long...

from what I recall, the Hob Nob was not entirely covered in chocolate ... just one side. available in both milk, and dark chocolate varities.

Yes, I'm sure they're only half coated - next time I go to Tesco, I'll have a look . . .

serious question. not meant to be cheeky.
do americans have biscuits or just cookies?

i had to explain the difference to an american once. feel sorry for ya if you dont have them.
though chewy raisin and cinnamon cookie dunked in baileys is a tasty alternative

I tried buying cordial in SoCal once. They looked at me like I was from another world (OK, I am, but that's besides the point...) but nowhere could I buy dilute drinks...

For the most part I don't think many places in the States have biscuits and I'd be impressed if there actually was a store here that did sell them. Quite frankly, I agree that a vast majority of Americans don't know what they're missing (myself included ).

Thanks for reminding me that you can only buy ordinary Hob Nobs here

Here is a site for Biscuits:

http://www.nicecupofteaandasitdown.com/

By coincidence, Chocolate Hob Nobs are on the front page

I make an incisive or controversial comment about something.. nobody wants to know. I ask about something trivial and you're falling over yourselves....!

But of course this is not trivial. There IS (or was) a totally chocolate covered hobnob and I am loyal to its spirit. Even if it is a trick of memory, a man could spend a lifetime looking for one and it would not be wasted....

Oh yeah, I have worked very hard to get into a possition where my most serious worries are biscuit related, whoever made that comment!

Absolutely agreed!

Thinking back however, I fear that my memory of the totally covered hob-nob may be due to an ex-girlfriend sticking the semi-covered hob-nobs back to back in order to create her own Frankenbiscuit.

Some people have no respect for the biscuit within.

Cheers,

Matt.

During mokso, one should concentrate real hard on one's inner biscuit.

Fox's did one which was ripoff hobnob all covered in chocolate...mmmmmm....the best one is that triple chocolate one. aaaarrgggghhh Fox's biscuits....
But which is the BEST biscuit? hobnobs are the commandos of dunking ones (go on.. dunk me - I can take it)
but choccie ones... aah... now theres a challenge for you all! Possibly more trouble making than a my ryu is better than yours thread!
Fox's is in the running with those big round shortcake ones with extra thick choccie on... KITKAT have blown it by not making a chunky 4 finger one.
