I just saw the movie, it was pretty kool. It's sad how Huo dies. Anyway, it had pretty good action and good comp effects.

An interesting thing I heard was that in Fearless he plays the poisoned master of his character in Fist of Legend. (I think that's true)

I also think that is true, the dead master in The fist of legend (Jing Wu Yin Xiong) is Huo Yuan Jia and the school is a Jing Wu school, of course the story is fictional and the movie is another remake of Bruce Lee's movie.
About Fearless i've read in a french online newspaper that some decendent of Huo Yuan Jia threatened to sue Jet Li because the latter portrayed his ancestor as killing many innocents and that he didn t have any descendents.
