Ah! thanks for all comments. I decided to go only Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom because the chidlren ages. From the brochure, I don't think they will enjoy epcot center much and for the water playing, that is special treat for daddy down in Miami beach (by the way I need to know what beach is the best). I will check again to see about staying at disney hotel. I have a question, if using locker to keep things, is it too far and unconvinence to go back the locker whenever I need something? Is back pack more convinence? About the unofficial brochure, where to get it?

I live in Tampa and had all year membership at Disney. I have 7 years old son.

- Go to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom: Very good choice. Make sure you stay there for both parade and fireworks at night. Something they will never forget. I do not recommend for Epcot and MGM.
- Instead of locker, I always using backpack, filled with water bottle. It can be chilly at night for your kids. You might want to bring your spring jacket or at least sweatshirts.
- Yes, everything is expensive. Water and food.. Food sucks big time !!
- If you can afford, try to stay at Disney hotel since it is very convenient. Take a nap for your kids and good food..
- Bring Sunblock in your back-pack !!!!
- It is not the best time to go to beach. But if you are interested, you can go to Clearwater. 2 hours away. Or Daytona beach.. I personally prefer Clearwater. For other beaches in Tampa, check this site http://beaches.tbo.com/
- Universal Studio. I don't recommend this for your kids. Waste of money since most of ride or places will be too scared for your kid.

So, how long do you plan to stay here ? Any other info you need ?

I don't like the beaches down here. They're all seashelly and grainy. Having been to Grand Cayman, I don't think anything compares. But, I suppose you can't go wrong with Miami Beach. I don't know if South Beach would be "too sexy" for your fam. Haha. It's all the same crap, though. Once you get near biscayne bay, you should be alright wherever you go.

We are going to stay at Disney for two day tours, then stay in Miami for two days. I booked a hotel on Biscanay blvd, is it a safe neighborhood? Thanks for advice, I will try to book Disney hotel. For the water, I thought the end of March is ok, not too cold and if the south beach is too sexy? my wife will decide, since I am just the chauffer with an intention.

Here is the question for Miami locals, what is the excellent seafood restaurant down there which is not focus on strip down tourist to the bare bone?

Only 2 days, kids 4 & 7? Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom no question. You'll need a full day at each and you still won't see everything.

I am afraid they will get bored after two days. We don't intend to see everything for sure, just enjoy what we can. I will plan out what need to see and what don't. When they are bit older, we will plan a longer stay. My son likes Buzz light year and my daughter is all for cinderella and all the princess crap.

About checking the latest bikini fashion, I am not worry about my wife with me. Have you heard about "Men best friend"? it is the Sun Glasses.
At South Beach 20% only wear half of the bikini.

Is that why you dare not going there . If you have nitroglycerin ready and keep your blood pressure way down, you will survive

bahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh !!

You have to kidding me that they will get bored in Disney world !! I know you and your wife might get bored but not your kids. They will want more and more !!! 2 days in Disney and 2 days in Miami ? Why don't you go to one in Tampa beach ?? Miami would be nice but you will probably lose all day to travel down to Miami, takes about 4~5 hours one way.

Your kids might get tired and cranky but I can't see them getting bored. Adults, neither - I thought I would be bored but my wife and I had just as much fun as the kids, if not more. They were 7 & 9 when we went.

I was there the other day just to keep my heart going. You know about the old bull and the young bull don't you? Young bull says let's run down and have fun with one of those cows. Old bull says let's walk down and have fun with all of them.

I didn't think I would like south beach but it there is a lot happening there, not much for kids though.
I'm in Palm City now for a couple of weeks, my friends are showing horses at Wellington.

Hi LNGUYEN...

Try:
The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World, 2006 (Paperback) : http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/076...Fencoding=UTF8

and:
Hidden Mickeys, 2nd Edition : A Field Guide to Walt Disney World's Best Kept Secrets (Paperback) : http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/188...lance&n=283155

...and as has been said... if you or your kids can possibly get bored in two days then you are a medical miracle... A week would still not be enough!!!

Cheers

Yes, I heard about this from many different sources. But you really have to drive around to find a place for this. I am sure you can ask your hotel concierge about this when you get here.
