Hi all,

I've looked on the Immigration site but i've not found it very useful for the type of visa required.

My boyfriend is wanting to move to Scotland to live and work but im not sure how difficult this really is.

I would however be very grateful if there is anyone here who has moved over?

He would live with my family to start off with to be established but im just dont know where to start.

He needs to find a job, preferrably in an area where there's a skill shortage.
Alternative is a student visa, but then needs to be enrolled on a course that will qualify him for that visa.

AFAIK overseas students can only enroll on full time courses at uni (and pay the mad overseas rate...) Not sure but maybe there will be some exception for postgrad courses...
