You lucky bugger...was she cute? Hehehe...you could have taken the opportunity to practice shinai hanase(dropping the shinai) drills. You know, how when you drop your shinai you quickly run forward and hug your opponent so they can't 'ahem' hit you
I always miss the UCLKC celebrity kendoka visits. I tried to behave myself though so no ura-waza this time. Seriously though she was either really really friendly,or a bit wacky, take your pick

How are you so good in kendo....your white!
On more less the same line with that argument there is this one: japanese sensei.vs. whatever nationality sensei.

Watching some Korean kendo it came to my mind that "Mexican jumping beans" is an outdated term; They should change it to Korean jumping beans
I'm sorry, I'm not even Korean but I don't even find that amusing. I have a Korean sempai in my dojo and he had practiced Kumdo all his life before joining us a few years ago. His Kendo/kumdo owns, and he's one of my favorite sempai.

Stage 1

Stage 2
- I have bad grammar and spellings, but it doesn't make my point invalid
- I am hachikyu and it doesn't make my point invalid
- I started kendo 2 weeks ago, and it doesn't make my point invaild
- I can't tell you my lineage... and it doesn't make my point invalid
- Me lack of experience? I did for , and it doesn't make my point invalid
or
- I watched some video and so my point must be true
- I did my research (probably on the internet), and my point must be true
- Zaitoichi does it, so my point must be true
- Kendo is a sport, and it can't kill anyone... Mine's the opposite, so my point must be true
- Some time ago a kendoist was defeated in our challenge, so my point must be true
- I've tried shinken sparring with friend in my backyard, so my point must be true

Stage 3
- Oh man, people can't take jokes here
- I don't mind being criticized, but the personal attacks have gone too far
- Too much ego I'm seeing here
- I don't care about your rank and that does not automatically gain you my respect

Stage 4
- If you don't believe me, come see it yourself at
- I won't be posting here anymore
- ... but I won't be posting here anymore
- ... but I won't be posting here anymore
-

... A short compilation based on several real threads, celebrating stupidity on KWF for the past 3 years!
Mingshi for president!!

Watching some Korean kendo it came to my mind that "Mexican jumping beans" is an outdated term; They should change it to Korean jumping beans
I guess from someone who has this in his profile:

Occupation
:
Rediscovering the kid in myself

It's probably the best he/she can do.

anyway my entry:
Smelly kendo gear is okay or not.

Is it okay to throw "dirty panties" at your opponent? (Sorry runsyi and Paburo, it's just too good not to include it)

Is it okay for women to go "commando" in Kendo?

Is it okay to distract your opponent by saying during tsubazerai?

Back to more serious Kendo:

Is it okay to strike your opponent from Sonkyo or as they are turning around?

Is it okay to Tsuki someone higher ranking than you?

Hmm...more 'Great Kendo Arguements'

*Everyone forgot one of the most important arguements - Freedom Kendo or no? For the record, I don't go freedom. It's just...wrong, even if it is the tradition.

*When will it be ok for me to learn tsuki/jodan/nito?

*Big waza or fast waza? (essentially, 'good' kendo vs 'competition' kendo)

OK... great list all. I'll have the book out by next Christmas. Oh, to answer one of the "infamous questions" Yes it is perfectly OK for women to go commando in kendo. Would hate to discriminat!
