If you have probs with the clip - go to http://www.comitatus.net and then to the video clips in 'Late Roman Army' heading ... the one you want is entitled 'Archery on Testudo' number 2..
Our horses are usually supplied by a contractor... this particular contractor I am familiar with due to my involvement with English Civil War Re-enactment... the horse in question is a mount that has been doing re-enactment for a long time and is very good @ what he does... he does other tricks also, like rearing on command and lying down.. |

Sweet fixie, but with SPD's? On a track, I can understand, but on the street? There are way too many reckless cagers out there, so I use toe clips - easier to exit while spinning if you need to bale in an emergency. As for toeclips, if you want to deliver power to the drivetrain, you still need stiff soled shoes and the straps so tight that the difference is the same. |
