Giving up smoking is a small price to pay for the above...

I guess the ball's in my court. I'll give up smoking on Sunday, 16th July. It's my daughter's birthday and it seems appropriate.

I'd give up before but I am about to leave for a short business trip to Monte Carlo and sitting in a 5 star luxury casino looking at the boats in the harbour is not the ideal place to give up smoking. (Yes, this is a brag. Yes, this is part of what I do for a living).

I'll report back on Monday and tell you how it's going. Moral support appreciated.

See you then.

There was this Nicorette advertisement on Australian telley not too long ago with a very nice jingle which went like this:

"No... Gary no! No... Gary No! No... Gary No! GARY NO!!"

Yeah go you quitters!!

After this, my wife cut my hair (number 1 all-over buzz cut!)
Bravo that one. Scares children and small yappy dogs.

Hell, you guys are making me hungry...

for Nutella on toast that is. A friend gave me a jar for Christmas one year (don't ask me why cause we actually can buy it in the supermarket) and I used to make Nutella sandwiches before keiko. Being American I used to adulterate it with peanut butter though.

adulterating is fun. just this week my friend gave me an imported peanut butter jar from america (peanut butter is something unknown and mysterious to the average spaniard. needless to say, it's not on mainstream supermarkets)... and i've been adulterating a lot of things with it. yummy stuff nutella on the other hand... is something popularly consumed. even in some... urban legends...

may the force be with you lucien. quitting smoking is a great ideal that we all should support

andoru, that campaign was hilarious

I used to be a huge Nutella fan, but I gave up after coming to Belgium. You just can't go back to Nut after having tested Cote d'Or... :P

Is this Cote d'Or in any way related to "Kote Odor", which tickles my nose after every practice?

If they ever sold a chocolate spread called Kote Odour, I would not buy it, even to adulterate it with peanut butter. Or Jam (jelly to our over seas friends). Now thats a fast track to 6 feet under, nutella and jam....

Do you study kendo or sumo?
Stop dreaming about chocolate and/or peanut butter, it makes me hungry.
The step after quitting smoking is quitting eating.
