The Dojo of the Four Winds in Encinitas California is holding a seminar on Nami ryu with James Williams Sensei on October 14th and 15th. The main topics covered will be Kenjutsu and Aiki jujutsu. Kenjutsu is the Omote or outward manifestation of the Samurai bugei. Aiki jujutsu is the Ura or inner manifestation. The connection to Kenjutsu is the reason that classical jujutsu and aiki jujutsu is so sophisticated, simple, and effective.
Seminar fee is $200. The seminar will run from 9am until 5pm both days. Hotel information is available upon request. There are restaurants within easy walking distance of the dojo for lunch. There will be a get together on Saturday evening for the attendees.
