Because they'll be competing against Malaysia for the drinking competition...
The drinking competition is 'fixed' - Eastern Europe isn't there to kick butt

Hey, Why aren't Ireland there?

I have a good feeling
Yeah....you forgot to put Australia on that list too. I think our Kendoka numbers shot up to about 50!! in the country since the last WKC. Much bigger Talent pool. Look out Japan.

We just beat Japan in the 1st round of World Cup Soccer/Football. I can feel a new trend starting. You know what they say....."Give em an inch...they take a mile".

And like my Daddy used to say, .............................

Ooo...anyone got the skinny on the Korean squad? The Japanese look to be fielding a fairly young one this time round...could be an interesting WKC....

As a side note, KKA website (kumdo.org) is reporting that IKF (not the newer & competing WKA) has joined GAISF during GAISF meeting in Seoul on April 7, 2006. This is the first step in becoming an Olympic event, although it sounds like IKF's first goal is to be included in the Universiad Games, not the Olympics. IKF also officially requested GAISF for help in widening membership. I am thinking that the top 3 list in 5-10 years may not even include Japan, Korea or Taiwan.

If you can read Korean, the article is at http://www.kumdo.org/news/read.php?no=420&p=2
