Default hiragawa nobuo?
does anyone know who hiragawa nobuo is or anything about him? i was reading a book by him that was translated into korean last night. it was rather interesting in that this book goes more or less straight into tactics regarding how to use kensen to break aite's center from about chapter 3.

Slightly eccentric but very likeable 8th dan, comes to Europe reasonably frequently, student of the late and great Nyui Yoshihiro, professor (former?) of law at Meiji University. Are we thinking of the same guy?

I was on a camp he held in Malmö, Sweden last summer, and then he was introduced as "Professor of japanese sword arts of the Meiji University". He sure seem to have kendo as his special research topic anyway (use your Google-fu and find out on your own).
He was a nice guy and good teacher

not sure, i have no clue who he is. but i know i saw his face in one of kendo nippon mag from back in 2002. on the picture, he looks jolly, and has peppered hair and mustache. looks like when he was younger he used to wear glasses. rather tall and big for japanese man around his age.
