Default Toilets throughout History
Ever wonder how ancient peoples dealt with the "call of nature?"
Ever wonder what people did in the days before the Toto Corp. invented the Robotic, Talking 'Loo?

Well,

Wonder no more!

BEHOLD!

As someone who takes his bowel movements very seriously. I would like to state that the High Tech Japanese toilets are the closest thing to heaven for me. One day I will own one myself and will spend the majority of my spare time on it.
Which reminds me. I could not help but observe that you are also having quite a lot of spare time if you can dig up gems like this.

They have come down in price quite a bit.
I recommend this model:

Yes. Heaven is in the shape of a toilet.
LOL

I find the subject of history in general fascinating. Since little is documented on the hygiene habits of ancient humans (for reasons the article stated,) it is a grossly unreported aspect.
For more fun, try asking your local Librarian for books on the topic, and you'll get a strange look from even the most hardened bibliophile.

Quite a bit may be quite a lot for me. Last time I checked they are still kinda steep especially the one that you have recommended. I still would like to have one of those. Looking at the movie made me yearn for a ... aah... how to say.
