Actually, a one inch thick piece of plywood is sufficient protection from certain types of radiation. Obviously, not the kind set off by a nuclear attack or something, but still, it is possible.

This is actually pretty old.

ROFL i loved it so much i have taken all the advice to heart. im now on an ever vigilant look-out for leppers with pink eyes, and when i spot them i blow my anti terrorism whistle (i cant yell since im not vin diesel). im not too keen on getting leprosy though, so when ive blown my whistle, i quickly retreat and karate chop open the nearest doorway. once when this happened, the ceiling collapsed. i would have died if i hadnt remembered to conserve oxygen by not farting. instead, i used my flashlight to lift the walls right off me. After my daring escape, i though "maybe that lepper gave me smallpox", and so, i washed away the terrible disease with soap, water and one (1) armless hand (which i believe may have belonged to michael jackson who was crushed by my karate chop).
