Default Spam, spam and more spam
As some of you may have noticed, Alex and Hamish have made the arguably foolish decision to trust me with moderation duties. My main goal in life is killing spam. If you see some new spam, give me a chance to see it and deal with it before sending a pm or whatever.

As you were...

Ganbatte! That's all I can say after having a few months of experience on this board. It's been quite a mess with all the trolls and all those new spam threads in a foreign language...
Nice one!

Is "Saskatoonian" really a word?

The correct word is Saskatonian but either way is pretty awkward. I prefer "Neil" personally. Plonking has been occurring at an alarming rate.

Nothing good can come of this.

Only two things have ever come out of Saskatchewanian leadership:

1. Universal healthcare
2. Lots of wheat

May God have mercy on our souls.

I hate spam.

Im always trying new ways to filter it out from my mail box.

for my business I use cloudmark tool bar. it gets rid out of 98% of my spam.

for my blackberry, I forward it to gmail, and then use the pop3 settings to retrive with my handheld device.

it filters out about 80% of the spam.

still i find it very anoying the ones that get thru.....

I'll be looking forward to help keeping my favourite online comunity spam free!!!!

Spam has its uses, high fat and salt content makes it good for mountaineering.

Thank you Neil, the (online) spam in the Lounge and Flames was a serious detraction from it's utility.

Ahh scrapple, yummy. Growing up in Philadelphia meant scrapple for breakfast. Your various hog parts are mixed with cornmeal and spices and molded into a loaf. You cut off a lhin portion and fry it up. Put some ketchup on it or dunk it in your eggs.
Much better than head cheese.

Does this mean that you will be only around to hunt for Spam? What about the malcontents that need to be adressed in a friendly violent way? You haven't lost your touch have you? It would be nice to see the wrath of the North come down on some, whose names I shall not mention. Do the moderation duties (POWERS invested in you!) include banning?
Sir, yes Sir!
