Just got a Mac computer a few weeks back and would like to know any good sites for some help understanding the mac.
would any one know of a good site

It comes with tutorials and a help function that actually helps. Also go to .mac for some more stuff. I think they give you a free trial account when you buy and the site has tons of tutorials and software.
Bottom line is that the system is very intuitive and even a dummy like me can make it work. I have had nothing but Mac computers since 1986 and only get a new one because they are faster and have more thingys.

The guys on the forum linked below are quite knowledgable. Graphic artists, musicians, professionals of all sorts including many programmers from companies huge and small hanging around. Including the guy that wrote CoverFlow before it was bought by Apple and is now part of iTunes and also the iPhone. It was introduced and beta tested through the forum. They're genreally more realistic and less fanatical than the people on strictly Mac centric sites.
