Everyone knows Yorkshire people are:

First in the pub and last to the bar. Have to negotiate when it comes to buying the next round....and by the time they've decided its gone past last orders.

Have very short arms and very deep pockets.

Would charge you for advice, even when you havent asked for any.

Use one-use teabags at least twice.

In fact, generally tighter than a gnat's rear end. They make the Scots look positively generous.

And I bet your friend did the hair for free (because she wasn't from Yorkshire and you whined on until you got it done for nowt )

This is why i love international forums, you get to know a culture from an insider's point of view, so asside from the scots, there are Yorkshire people who best them in the money "saving" field. Thank you for the input Chidokan.

Happy birthday Lucy.

Yeah life is really something, one time you're here the next you're there and then you're neither here nor there

I hate it. I look like a bloke. I think it's one of those "cute" cuts. If you fear looking like a guy, just show more cleavage! Most of the guys won't even noticed how your hair is cut then!

P.S. Belated Happy Birthday Lucy!

mens talk about hair... " haircut?" ... "yeah"

womens talk deleted due to length of text overspilling into next thread...
