i did manage to cheer myself up Tony its amazing how much better i felt after a few large beers last night.
CCTV thats a joke even though my car was parked right by the camara it didnt pick up anything.
still i do get to drive a KA around for a few weeks till i get my new one.
Don't worry, Matt, we have the utmost sympathy for you. Just make sure you bring your bogu tomorrow night so you can give Big Dave a walloping (trust me, you'll feel loads better).

Last night I went to our clubs alternate venue for it's twice monthly Kata session. I thought I'd parked the car in a well lit section of the car park, I even put the stereo under the seat [not that it's worth much]. Anyway we heard some alarms going off half-way through the session but couldn't see anything when some of the guys investigated.

When we finished I got in the car and the little sods had been inside. They'd forced the door, trashed the steering column and stole my sons Hallowe'en torch, a can of de-icer and a windscreen cover so it doesn't freeze. They left the stereo, all my cassettes but did chuck my banana skin, that I'd not had time to bin, on the floor - litter louts. They also smashed the sampais windows and stole his water bottle. Everyone else seemed to be OK.

I mean who breaks into a '90-'94 VW Polo worth £350 and steals a torch and an aerosol can. I had to drive home with my indicator in the air and the windscreen wiper arm in my lap. SWINES. I've only had the car 3 months it's the reason that actually allowed me to get back into kendo. Oooh if only we'd checked a little better.

Well, you're still able to start your car. When they tried to steal my car they tried to do that by smashing a rock into the ignition switch. And they've hit it so hard that the steering column was scrapped. They also tried to start the car by doing a short, but they tried that with the airbag wires.

Stupid first generation Neon and their windows without frames, it makes it easier to open it without breaking the window...
