Default I feel old
At 19 I'm apparently too old to understand teen slang.

I got one right, and that was a guess...

What is the world coming to...

I got 6/10 and im older than thou. I attribute my ability to decipher these words to my 4 years of latin. That and i like to create neologisms.

I've never heard any of them in the UK...

Maybe some southerners (I think the survey the info came from was done by Lancaster Uni, maybe people from there would know) can tell us if they're more frequent there?

Teenagers.
They can speak whatever language they wish to themselves,
But when it's time to receive their allowances, suddenly they speak like those insufferably cute little brats in the Sound of Music.

I got 5 right and I'm pretty ancient. As Swiss said that's Brit youth slang so it might be very different depending on where you live. What's interesting is they had confuzzled as confusing, but we used that back in the 70's so it's either a piece of slang still in use from way back, or it just recently made it's way over.

Hmm, 5 of 10 and I'm 31. Maybe it's all the Britcoms and Jamie Oliver that I watch. Not really slang we hear up here in the great white north. Then again, I did guess a a few too.

Trust me, it can't be a southern thing. I only got 4/10 and they were all guesses. They may as well be speaking Aramaic for all the sense it makes to me.

2/10

Possibly they did a survey to find the freakiest of all the slang-expressions and then created this little quiz...

4/10 out of pure luck. About right considering there were normally 3 choices. I guess this puts me in the dumb monkey category....

BTW, I'm 37 yo,Korean and live in Italy so I guess I don't match any demographics they may have had in mind...
