According to Heroes Executive Producer Tim Kring, viewers just may see Hiro mixing it up with a blade in hand sometime this season." Source: Comics Buyer's Guide #1624 (January 2007) Nice! I watch this show every week.

Masi Oka has been in New York all week. Going to Conan O'Brian show, The Today Show, and tommorow, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade.

He ought to have visited a New York City dojo or two

He can't stop it all the time, and he seems to be unable to hold it for very long. Cool skill, but not perfected.

Not currently. But the spoiler I posted indicated there will be swordplay in the future, and "Future Hiro" has what appears to be a katana.
