The King of cheeses: Roquefort
The most tasty of all. Some people say it is horrible.
Nah! Stilton cheese is the King of Cheeses. Roquefort is just a smelly Prince!

The problem is that the worms that do the shitting are still in the cheese when it is eaten!
so cheese with larva, PLUS larvashit!
mjummeh!

There are several versions of horrible cheese...
From Italy...
Risk of enteric myiasis: intestinal larval infection. Piophila casei larvae can pass through the stomach alive (human stomach acids do not usually kill them) and take up residency for some period of time in the intestines, where they can cause serious lesions as they attempt to bore through the intestinal walls. Symptoms include nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and bloody diarrhea. Niiiiiiiiiice...

I'm driving through Germany on Saturday to go skiing in Austria. Note to self - if offered anything that sounds like Milbenkaese say "Nein, danke" and run!
Good idea.

There's a cheese that they do in Italy that is full of maggots. You eat the maggots along with the cheese!
Maggots are your friends!

And are one of the few meals that get to return the compliment (maggots not the cheese). You are probably aware that some hospitals use them to clean out the decaying flesh in certain wounds.

He kids you not! They do a better job than doctors. And they use leeches in some hospitals as well - good anticoagulant properties.

'Nuff said (and he knows everything!).

Isn't live octopus a delicacy in Korea? I'm pretty sure it is. Quite a few videos on youtube too.
Yes it is.. It can't get fresher than this.. Actually, it's not called Octopus ( Moon-Uh refers to bigger kind ) it's called Small Octopus ( Nahk-Ji ). The cooked version with Sweet Hot Pepper Sauce is more common companion dish for SoJu ( Korean Vodka ).. Cheers!

I'd need more than just a few to eat THAT kind of cheese... A few bottles, maybe.

Some Absinthe should turn those maggots into beautiful green fairies...

Maybe I'll try it while I'm over there - a few bottles of schnapps that is!
