Sorry.
As too the quality of blades, I will shortly address Muramasa and once I get a chance I will add more on both. Sengo Muramasa was a smith who worked in the early to late 1500's. It is not know how many generations of Muramasa there was, but it is commanly htought that there were between one and four. As for the blades themselves, the most unique is the mirror hamon. As far as I know Muramasa blades are the only ones to bare such. The hamon are usualy midae with valleys that almost touch the ha. Anther oddity of this smith is the tanagobara shaped nakago. And lastly for cutting ability, as far as I know a Muramasa has never been tested but I am sure they are at least thought to be saijo o wazamono. |
