Humor:
a. That quality which appeals to a sense of the ludicrous or absurdly incongruous.
b. The mental faculty of discovering, expressing, or appreciating the ludicrous or absurdly incongruous.
c. Something that is or is designed to be comical or amusing.

Just in case you forgot.
ORLY??? :P

How about going back to watch Roswell? Just go back and actually go watch it happen... Finally get to see that damn weather balloon... Or maybe go back to watch Hitler at the Beer hall. It would be interesting to watch - The books talk about what a great Orator he was but to be able to see it in all its blood chilling reality...

Oh yeah and I'd want Popcorn for that too..

Thinking about places i wish i could have been or things i wish i could have seen from "pop" culture i'm thinking.....

Maybe Wrestlemania (i think 6) the one where Hulkster and The Ultimate Warrior go at it... crackin.

I really wish I could have seen the late great Bill Hicks perform... Maybe I could be one of the hecklers at his Chicago gig.

Maybe go see Stevie Ray at Montreaux (both times ).. i have the DVD but what the hey!

Jimi at Woodstock.... maybe.. or maybe an old school Donnington my mum never let me go to when i were a lad. When the METAL reigned supreme and was not bastardised by a bunch of pubeless swines.

I'd quite fancy gettin half naked covered in wode with my brothers in arms at Stirling Bridge too.

I'd love to be there on the day that the Nazis surrendered to Allied forces. Just to feel what it was like to hear the whole world let out one, big sigh of relief.

In more modern days I'd love to see Star Wars, The Godfather and Apocalypse Now and Alien on opening their opening night. One thing I'd love to see during my lifetime however is seeing Rage Against The Machine live in concert. They're probably my favorite band and I've never (and will never) see them live.

Hehehe done that. And had him rip the piss out of us for being a few minutes late and interrupting his start...

Nice! Hicks is definitely one of the performers I'd love to have seen.

It's not really an event but it would have been nice to see the great library in Alexandria before it was torched. Watching it getting torched would me too much for me, it's really tragic when people start burning books, usually a bad sign of things to come.

A more recent event would be Woodstock; three days of peace, love and mud. Apparently there was some music involved as well.

In fact, that is the event that I would love to see - The Resurrection of Bill.

Just in time for the end of Bush's presidency...

I think it would be pretty damned cool to see live dinosaurs (and since I can't be harmed, I would have no worries of Jurassic Park style misadventures), possibly to see what caused their eventual extinction with my own eyes.

The usual - Asteroid that wiped out the Dinosaurs ; the big bang etc.. BUT also to watch myself being born - not so much the nitty detail but the moments afterwards - probably sort of vain but a good insight into my parents as they were back then....

Tough question. This is like my favourite series, Quantum Leap.

Maybe one of the numerous assasination attempts on Fidel Castro or..
The ANZAC Gallipoli Landing in Turkey.

Grand battles are very tempting… so are any other historical significant events. But since people have been bitching so much about how beautiful Cleopatra was, I'd like to spend the night with her… participating… not just observing.

For me, I just want to know how Homo Sarpien kick the sh t out of Neanderthal. The theory for the two mated and became one as today wouldn't stand very long just for a simple reason, they are too ugly. I would prefer a blonde homie than a red Neanie.

the duel at ganryujima, naturally!!
I agree with Paburo. Who wouldn't like a front row seat at the classic show-down between Miamoto Musashi and Sasaki Kojiro! Still, there are so many important moments in history to pick from, how can ya settle on just one? This is like choosing your favorite color... I want the whole damn rainbow!

Yours in Martial Spirit, Jon Palombi

I second Jon on his "how can ya settle on just one?", i've giving this a bit of thought and since i'm fascinated by the sword, i'd like to witness the history of swords and sword arts in the middle-east. A time traveling hoplologist would be one very cool job.
